The mission of the

Beaverton Literacy Council (BLC)

 is to provide instruction in English as a Second Language and in U.S. Citizenship. 

Taught by trained community volunteers, classes for adult learners are available at all levels from beginning to advanced. Classes are held during the traditional school year at various locations in Beaverton.
